  1. they complain about the strikezone until they get a call that turns the inning around.
  2. it wasn't a bloody strike Phillies. KWIT YER BITCHIN'!!! YOU'VE GOTTEN THE BENEFIT OF THE CALLS.
  3. give us a bloody chance here blue. what the hell.
  4. Alph and Mesa took about 50 minutes for their two innings.
  5. and Ronnie has to swing at the second one since the first was a strike.
  6. that's the big drag of his 'won't let it happen again' comments. sometimes it's needed.
  7. yep. what did strike three to Burrell lool like on gameday.
  8. I had zero problems with him until Rollins ab in the 5th. since then he's gone to hell. what irritates the hell out of me is the Phillies keep complaining, and they keep getting the calls. anytime any Cub makes any complaint it seems they get punished for it the rest of the game.
  9. love it when the Cubs are getting the short end of the ball strike calls, and the other team complains about it.
  10. inside corner of right handed hitters is exclusive domain of the Phillies, whether pitching or hitting.
  11. dear cubs, sinker and splitter, both move the same, thrown over and over and over. I was about to say don't ground out to short and third, but Kendall was just too quick for me.
  12. we're all ridiculing Eyre, but in all honesty, he made some outstanding pitches that inning. he should use that curve more, 52' slider less.
  13. considering the bs call to Rollins, outstanding work by Eyre.
  14. he really seems to like Rollins and not like Murton.
  15. if it's a strike to Murton, it's a strike to Rollins.
  16. Ronnie's ab is one thing, but Murton's ab is all on blue. and come to think of it, hard to fault Ronnie for swinging at a pitch six inches out of the zone since it was called strike three the batter before.
  17. where does it have strike three, because it was about 6 inches outside. and as I mentioned, Rich Hill did not get that same pitch twice in a row to Rollins (strike 2)
  18. hate to quote myself, but the strikezone apparently just became 26 inches wide.
  19. if it's a strike to Murton, it's a strike to Rollins. come on blue.
