I don't have the overall stats, but I know one team who in 1984 came back to win a five game series after being down 0-2. I also remember a team that was left for dead in '03 that needed to win three games in a row and they did it. Maybe the getting ahead in series thing has not worked out so well for the Cubs so they are going to try doing it the other way. What's the point in not pulling for them until they are eliminated? Everyone thought the two games in Chicago were favorable match ups. They turn it around at home and win those two and then it is 1 game back in AZ that can go either way. If they wind up losing in Chicago, at least you can say you supported your team to the end. Seems a lot better than bailing when they were down two games.
