looking at the records of all of these teams and then seeing the cubs as a road team in the wild card game makes me mildly irate. Just because the 95-67 Royals have home field advantage throughout the playoffs and the 97-65 Cubs can't have home field advantage in any round? that's the least of it, really. at least the royals posted a really good record this season. the cubs posted the third best record out of 30 major league teams, yet to win a championship they'll have to beat 4 teams, all of which will have home field advantage, including one team which they'll play in a one game coin toss.
