But being the All Star Game and the usual AL's ownership of the NL, 3 ABs might span 6-7 innings.

Yes, I thought of that scenario but he has to be careful because if the game goes to extra innings (and he hasn't been conservative with the pinch hitting throughout the game) the NL may have to have it's pitchers bat.

Gah...Kurkjian didn't reveal anything. But....Kruk gives his input! He says Pujols will take over and TLR will voluntarily lose the DH and just use the other guys to PH for the pitcher. :shrug: He also said Dusty would be mad if TLR let Lee play the whole game.

Nothing. I thought he'd give some insight into what TLR would do re: Lee and first base and the entire game. He said nothing about it. It was more a piece about how close the race was and how TLR decided to start both guys. Then, Kruk gave his input...take if for what it's worth. :D

That's what I also heard about Kruk's point of view. While we all know that Kruk is not "bright", he does make a point about Dusty would not be very happy if TLR let Lee play the whole game. I know I wouldn't be happy if that was the case, considering the fact that we're still in the WC race.
