Utility bat this year. Starting at 2nd base next year. I don’t see the Cubs trading Shaw. But if they do, it better be for a starting pitcher they can control for AT LEAST 4 years. And at least a MOR type guy. Maybe a similar trade like Rizzo for Cashner. Except this time the pitcher works out too. I doubt that is a possibility, which is why I expect Shaw to be here.
