The 22-year-old Rose was widely expected to win the award after leading the Chicago Bulls to a 62-20 record and No. 1 seed in the playoffs.

    LOL! Page one of the bulls/hawks predictions yielded this gem: agree with your first sentence Soth, but the thing about Chicago is that they really aren't a good offensive team. It was a dangerous thing against Orlando because they have so many shooters and such a dominant presence in the middle. Chicago has Rose and that's about it. Boozer and Deng are ok, but if we can at least play solid D, we'll be able to grind out a victory. If we play smart on both ends, I really don't see much of a series. IIRC, the Hawks are a team of quitters who as soon as the tough get going... they get going.

    Yeah, I agree. Really liked what I saw out of Leddy, Smith, and Crawford this year to provide enough optimism going forward. If they must deal Sharp this season, they seem to have the talent evaluators to identify high impact players who can be used for depth and backfill the loss Sharp's offense will cost us. Can we trade Kane or Campbell instead???

    Lost on a walk to adam everett, stolen base, sac bunt, and a suicide squeeze. Then McDonald got thrown out overrunning second base on a ball IN THE INFIELD. Not gonna lie, motherfucking glorious.

    Totally random, but I just recalled one of my favorite live sporting event moments ever: michigan state beating Louisville to go to the Final Four a couple years back... What an amazing atmosphere! I'm hoping they have been playing possum all year, but I very much doubt it.

    It's nice to see the Hawks leading the league in goals scored now too. Without two months of Turco, we might be the top team in the West.

    One of the most underrated and brilliant coaching plays of the game: kicking off with 2:08 left, the Packers pseudo squib kick was a stroke of genius, further helped by the dumb penalty on Pittsburgh. The key was killing the two minute warning as the Steelers had been irresponsible with their timeouts and lost ANOTHER stoppage of the clock. Just a great game by Aaron Rodgers. If there is any doubt about who the best QB is... dude completed 62% of passes for over 300 yards, 3 TD's, no picks while losing one of his top Wide Receivers and having five drops... This easily could have been a 350/4 performance. The World Heavyweight Champion indeed.

    No words can describe how awesome this game. Aaron with the I am the champ motion to the crowd makes me smile every time. Wouldn't mind seeing that in Chicago next week

    18/21 250 yards passing, extending plays against the blitx with his legs, precision passing. This guy is a defensive coordinators worst nightmare (I'm pretty sure Jon gruden has said the exact same thing)
