    Not what you want to see out a reliever either. Yeah...but he did basically get 4 outs before giving up the HR...the E at short and then the missed third strike...give the guy a break.. Sorry about that, sarcasm dosent come off well on a message board. No problem...I'm just "sensitive" on the Wood topic this spring... Completely unrelated note (and this is already discussed in rivals) but the Cards lost Kinney for the season today....

    Has there been any reports about how he "felt" today...I haven't heard "tenderness" "soreness" or "discomfort" mentioned at all today...that has to be considered some sort of success.

    Could you guys keep updating the score...I had to turn the radio off...thows seattle guys were just too painful...I'd seriously rather listen to the STL or White Sox broadcast.

Doesn't exactly fall into our "he was just throwing" hopes...

    Anybody else think there is a decent chance they come out and say "we told Mark to just go out there and throw today, and not to worry about dialing it up to full game speed" we just wanted him to get back in a game and throw a little....that would make me feel a TON better about the velocity.

    I'm not concerned at all about Prior's lack of control...I'm concerned about him only hitting 82-83 on the gun...The old Prior is not that kind of pitcher...if he's really lost that much speed...and wasn't just going at 85% or something today...then there may be reason to worry.

    Ronny's having a good game...and Lilly seems to be pitching very well....looking forward to seeing Wood...if he can throw well maybe this day won't be awful....actually as long as we don't see the words "soreness" or "discomfort" tomorrow in reference to any part of Prior aside from his pride, it will be a good day.
