NFL DC is and always has been his calling. Definitely agreed. I'm guessing he'll end up as a DC at a Southern college - TAMU, Auburn, South Carolina or Florida State. And Dan Mullen seems the obvious choice as a replacement. Maybe Bob Stoops? I get the feeling the fans in OK would pack Stoops' bags for him and drive the UHaul. Not even close.

On another note, Rhode Island currently boasts the 2nd highest unemployment rate in the US, behind Georgia. I have no doubt that Schilling's RI-backed company that failed is still having an effect on this state.

So Georgia's loss is to a team with 3 losses and their best win is at a place where Indiana won... Got it. All 3 of those losses were against SEC teams though. Meanwhile, Oklahoma and TCU sport single losses on the road to teams with a combined 1 loss, but the AP thinks Georgia is better than both.

But only one of those losses is to an SEC West team though. The SEC East only looks terrible because everyone is comparing them to the SEC West. What do you think would happen if a Big Ten team had to play the SEC East? Penn State would win the SEC East this year. Hell, Indiana has a win at an SEC East school this year.
