  1. By the way, I fully intend on selling two of the four tickets I bought. Again, they're for the first home game (the Saturday game) in section 204. I'll be completely up front and say that I am looking to make a significant profit, so if you're only looking to pay slightly over face, then this probably isn't the greatest match.
  2. Maybe. But I'm guessing that to the casual fans with money that want to be cool and go to a Cubs playoff game, they'll be more inclined to pay more for tickets in a section that begins with 2 rather than a section that begins with 5. Either way, I don't think that selling them will be a problem for either one of us.
  3. When would NLCS tickets go on sale, does anyone know? And my God, how far ahead of myself am I getting right now?
  4. Wow, I'd almost rather have those than the ones I got in 204. Almost. Here's a bigger picture... http://www.seatdata.com/images/mlb_cubs/512x384/523.jpg Here's an even bigger one... http://www.seatdata.com/images/mlb_cubs/1024x768/523.jpg Can you get section 213 blown up for me? Just change the 523 to 213.

  6. Does anyone know how many rows there are in section 204?
  7. Wait, did you just get that? I got that section but a further back row like 15 minutes ago.
  8. 13 between three people? The max they allow is four per person, I wonder if they really will cancel orders like they said they would for people who purchase more than the max.
  9. If you already got tickets, why are you still trying for more?
  10. BOOM! Four tickets to Game 3!!! I started shaking once I saw that I got in, I was so excited! I got section 204, what did those of you lucky enough to get in get?
  11. Wow, do a search on Ebay for "Cubs NLDS"
  12. I've got at least 100 tabs opened up on two different computers. Come on!
  13. I don't follow this line of thinking at all. How do you acknowledge that some players are negatively affected by high pressure situations, yet at the same time say that those that are affected in a positive way are just random occurrences. Seriously, this makes zero sense.
  14. ?? It says on Cubs.com that the virtual waiting room will open at 8:30 and at 9 they will randomly select people. I could see how that would confuse people. What I meant was that all other teams are doing a thing where you have to register to be able to purchase tickets, and you're then notified via email if you've been selected.
  15. And the magic number is now SIX!
  16. That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
  17. Any talk on campus of what time that game is going to be? I know nothing is set yet, but are there any rumors?
  18. What exactly is this?
  19. To refute this, I'm saying that a player's performance does not shift whether or not there is a base runner on or not. The fact that his numbers are different with runners on is all just a matter of coincidence. A player doesn't suddenly gain better offensive ability (or worse), based on the situation at hand, i just cannot believe that theory. Well, you're wrong. Pitchers pitch differently with RISP, and are likely to leave more balls over the plate. Therefore, there is a difference when hitting with runners on. Good hitters, like Ramirez, will make pitchers pay for challenging them. Agreed. Some hitters are more locked in at the plate in big situations too, and on the flip side some hitters get more jittery in big spots. Baseball players are human after all, and don't always go up to the plate with the same mindset.
  20. Looks like every other team is doing a random drawing system. I wonder why the Cubs are doing it this way.
  21. Yes. The magic number is any combination of Cubs wins and Brewers losses. When/if it reaches zero, the Cubs win the division. So what happens if the Brewers lose this afternoon? Six? Correct.
  22. Why is Dempster in there? Come on, Lou
  23. Sam Fuld would try and cacth that ball. Seriously.
