    Ugh, I hate 9:00 CST start times. All I pray is that the game does not go to extras. Looks like a 2 1/2 hour nap time would be a wise idea to do right about now. Hopefully I'll be on here later.

    I'd like them to keep Mozeliak as GM and either keep Tony or hire someone who handles pitching staffs well. Tony has worn out a lot of tread this year with the DUI and everything, but he and Duncan are a package deal and I'd hate to lose Duncan. Would Jose Oquendo be one of the favorites for the manager job?

    I agree with the assessment that Bartman shouldn't be signing, not becuase I have anything aganist him (which I don't) I think a wiser route would be to get the big names in the old days of the Cubs to do the honors (Santo, Williams, Sandberg, etc etc) Heck, if there are some guys alive on the Cubs team in 1945, bring them along. I think it would be a great thing to do is to pay our tributes to the old Cubs team, especially in '45.

    Trading away Haren for Mulder alone should have got him whacked. That has got to be the single worst trade in baseball for the past... shoot, I don't know how long.

    I'm not sure if this was discussed, but if it was, my apologies. Do you see any resemblence between 2003 and 2007 Cubs team? Is 2003 better than 2007? Like is the starting pitching in 2003 better than 2007? What about the lineup? Is 2003 better than 2007 or the other way around? The bench? Bullpen? Discuss.

    Thank you Roast and EJ. Still odd things has happened before. I agree with you guys that there should be zero chance that Traschel should be on the playoff roster, but I'd rest easier once it's set in stone.

    I'm okay with that, as long as that means that Traschel gets bumped down. There is zero chance that Trachsel is or was ever going to be on the playoff roster. I don't know why anyone was worried about this. Has this been confirmed? I haven't kept up with the playoff roster, so I'm not exactly sure who's on it, to be honest with you.

    What bothers my ass is that TBS was working fine during baseball season, but now it requires a "Access Card" for me to get access into the NLDS. Are you kidding me? How can I get around this?
