I just learned the Southern League All-Star Game will be held at Trustmark Park, which is home of the Mississippi Braves so I'm likely going to be able to attend, provided I can get tickets. Does anyone know how hard it is to get tickets to one of these things?
Based on last year, I'm guessing we'll take a player who is projected to go at the end of the first or beginning of the second round, shocking everyone with the third pick. Then in the fifth round, we'll find someone who might be really good but plays another sport and offer them more money than we should just to make up for our reach in the first round.
I liked Stone in the days when he was paired with Harry. But over time, his act grew trite and he seemed to become very full of himself. I think Len and Bob make a great pairing. I'm not eager to look to the past and bring back Stone. That ship sailed and it's best not to bring it back to port.
I'm not sure how to account for this prediction. I think you should just give me the $10,000 prize right now. If not, I'll say June 8th. Well since there's no $10,000 cash prize, I'll put you down for the 8th.
WE HAVE NOT WON SINCE 1908 WE WILL STILL NOT WIN AND WE'LL HAVE A CRAPPY BALLPARK INSTEAD OF A NICE ONE AND SOME GUY WHO LIVES IN LAKE FOREST WILL HAVE STOCK THAT'S WORTH A LITTLE MORE. HOO-*******-RAY! Well at least you can take solace in your assumed superior knowledge of all things Cub. Well at least you can fail at your arguments and therefore resort to attacking me like the jackass we all know you are.
