Does anyone know what the Royals' plan is for Sisco in 2006? Will they send him back to the minors to work on starting, keep him with the big club in the bullpen, or keep him in the majors as a starter? What's the word out of Kansas City?
From another source I have, I can vouch on his reliability, the Pirates inquired about Mench and the Rangers asked for Oliver Perez. The Pirates countered with Kip Wells, and the discussion ended. Take that for what it's worth.
Les Miles is a freaking idiot. His team is driving on Bama and then he calls a stupid double reverse which is sniffed out and thrown for a loss of 12 putting LSU in a 2-22 and taking them out of FG range. :x
On the other hand, "very soon" is a relative term. It could just mean the Cubs are heavily involved in discussions with the Marlins and that a trade is likely to happen in the next week. Imminent would imply we should expect an announcement this weekend.
Whar's more telling is the names not on that list. We already know Walker and Patterson are being shopped. I wouldn't be surprised if Hairston, Williams, and Cedeno are as well. Why wasn't Cedeno listed among the players Hendry wasn't listening to trades for? The Cubs signed Neifi even though Cedeno was already here. I'm starting to think Cedeno is being shopped as well.
I found this while surfing around. You have to scroll down to get to the tidbits on the Cubs. 1. It appears the Cubs have inquired about Bradley. 2. Cubs do have interest in Pierre and Mench. 3. The Cubs are not eager to listen to proposals that involve Pie, Hill, or Murton.
