    The proposal was discussed at the Collier Tourist Development council meeting on Monday. There is a video and article here : http://www.naplesnews.com/news/2009/oct/26/tourism-leaders-look-create-public-private-partner/. The board voted 7-1 in favor of setting up a public committee. Also, there will be a press conference held by the group leading the effort to bring the Cubs to Collier on Thursday the 29th at 3:00pm EST at the Naples Bath & Tennis Club.

    Just got home from the game. I don't know who to feel more sorry for, the Cubs and their pathetic-ness, or the Marlins because there were more Cubs fans there than Marlins fans.

    I called the box office this morning and I got section 102, row 4 which are behind the bullpen and they only cost me about $25 each. She offered me tickets right behind the dugout in the founders club section, but they were $75! No thanks.. http://mlb.mlb.com/fla/images/tickets/y2005/ph_seatingchart_580x525.gif On a side note, it is so weird to be able to call and order tickets for any section you want.. :lol: I am so not used to that.

    FINALLY got through. I got four seats for 7/20 against the Astros in section 229. :D

    So basically if I want to attend two different games this year, I can't buy tickets for both at the same time.. I have to do one, before the other.

    I just scored 4 upper deck seats for the 7/27 game vs. Giants. It took me two hours in the waiting room.. but I finally got in!
