  1. Mine too, his email signature is a small picture of him. I figure he did that so when he comes into the building everybody can act like they are actually working.
  2. go on The CEO for Waste Management grew up in the construction industry so he wasn't scared of hard work but he said he got a greater appreciation of what each person did and his style of management will change. He actually got fired once by one of his sub-manager because he was too slow. He also saw a lady doing the work of six and later he promoted her and encouraged her to go into sales because she was so good with people.
  3. We could hit the 80's with "Hall and Oats" We could do somebody from the 90's but the great groups either aren't together or their lead committed suicide/died of a drug over-dose
  4. Can't wait for "Undercover Boss" that looks and what I heard on Bob and Tom from one of the CEO's, sounds good it
  5. How many was it at? 5 and a half. I thought it was 3 and a half. But I stopped counting after he had four in a row early on. Too bad he had a bunch of half ones. I'm sure he will drop a few more at the end. I believe they have beer and Aleve ready for them back stage
  6. As long as he doesn't pull a Springsteen and thrust himself into my living room Saw them in the 70'sand again early 80's....the years of belting theses songs out sure take their toll. Love classic rock but they could have found anybody from this century that could have done a bit better, but not as recognizable as the CSI themes. Please no wardrobe malfunction
  7. Place a bet Pete won't be sliding across the stage
  8. Yeah trying to pound the ball in with no [expletive] is kinda dumb. Just throw it around. LOL I forgot the FB position is a dirty word here. They don't have Rocky Blier or Franco Harris or Walter and Reggie Bush is a pale comparison to them
  9. Yes, now the defense can celebrate.....a little
  10. football may not be the sport for you I heard the same complaint from Dick Butkus, just tackle him and get back to the huddle. I am here for the Godaddy commercials  Which are getting pretty tiring
  11. Enough with the celebration after every tackle!!!
  12. come defense on both teams my numbers are 3 and 0!
  13. Come on Derwood, you know, a liberal agenda includes looking like a European model, in Europe they don't have college sports so if we are going to go with this model I say let's go all the way and only have club ball. Unless you deny that fact then you would be in a conservative camp when it comes to sports.
  14. I don't think any males noticed that aspect of her song
  15. I said the ones that don't care. I am surprised at this board, considering 99 percent of you want to be just like Europe. The Europeans have club ball and seem to survive. My suggestion is simple let the college use these athletes to make money and the athletes in return get exposure and first class fascilities and coaching to help them reach their ultimate goal, the nba. If they choose to go to class, great! You know and I know the athletes are the most driven of students in college and usually are the ones ending up with the MBA's, PHd and higher level degrees, but there is a segment that don't strive for anything greater than the NBA or NFL, and there is a segment of our society that believe the only job of a university is to win championships and produce NBA/NFL players. I am just trying to find a happy medium, just don't call them student-athletes if you are demanding more athlete than student
  16. And a cop will be caught on tape beating someone
  17. True. Interestingly enough, I'd argue that Mississippi is more of a Saints state top to bottom than Louisiana. In my experience I've come across a whole HELL of a lot of Cowboys fans in that state (such as yourself). That's because Dallas actually played football for the last 30 years.
  18. I kind of doubt Jesus would be able to throw as tight of a spiral as Manning unless He cheated and used His God powers...and Jesus doesn't seem like the cheating type to me. Advantage Colts. He use to cast out a pretty mean fishing net and for the long throw he cast some demons pretty far. It'd be close. I am just surprised Ole Miss would not bow down to a fellow southerner. Brees is just a lost yankee
  19. So, I guess you haven't? Sorry about that, someday you will be old enough.
  20. No I didn't. I am saying that they should quit the pre-tense that these guys are students. they are money maker so unless they really want to they don't have to go to class. don't take up a seat that could go to someone who wants to learn, then they can concentrate on football and basketball and bringing in money for the University. There is a college in Alabama that dropped there football program and the enrollment went up as well as the overall grade point average, not only that but the secondary sports participation skyrocketed despite a fee needing to be paid. I will look it up but I heard it on NPR
  21. If the assets of the school directly get him a job? Yes. A business major would not have film produced and edited by the AV department, nor would he have agents sitting in on his classes to try to sign him. They are are not marketed by the university either
  22. Ok, I'm gonna make my trip to crazy town and actually try to have an actual conversation out of this. It's fruitless, but I'm bored. Why, if you were going to have an NBA minor league, would a college sponsor it? Because colleges are so rich with money (especially after they drop college basketball) that they have cash to throw at minor league sports? It is the pre-tense that these guys are actually students. I am saying we call it what it is a minor league camp for the NBA and a giant fund raiser for the University. the NCAA gives a crap about students. I believe if any kid gives up a four year scholarship to go pro then they own the university the amount of that scholarship back. Though college is much more entertaining than the NBA it markets itself under the delusions of developing the whole person when we all know what it is about. I am just asking for them to be honest with this suggestion to expand the format. If they do care about the student they would reduce the tournament time down as well as the number of teams so the student can get back and study for mid-terms
  23. and they're doing a medley, some of which will be mimed to over a track. I can here the kids now, "Why did they get the CSI theme guys to do the superbowl?
  24. I am so happy that the NCAA cares so much about the STUDENT-athlete. MY bad, ATHLETE-student. Eliminate collage basketball completely and call it the minor league for the NBA that is sponsored by a college
  25. So if it was up to glenn we would also have a lucky rabbits foot hung in every locker
