    We're not going to get anything of value for Jones. Just release him and move on already.

    I'm amazed that Jones and Izturis get playing time every game. It's like Lou's decided that it's okay to have two black holes in the lineup every game. Wouldn't want the Cubs to score too much.

    Michigan's starting pitcher Putnam went 8 and 2/3 innings without giving up a hit, but ended up giving up 1 hit that led to a run in the 9th, and of course Michigan loses 1-0. :x

    I'd just like to point out that Jacque Jones and Cesar Izturis are putting up lines of .236/.300/.330/.630 and .245/.306/.299/.605 respectively for the season, but for some reason still get playing time. I would love to hear an explanation for this.

    Pretty interesting. I've never been on the tour, so that's the first time I've seen the walk. That is definitely a long walk.

    Yeah, Lou pretty much tries to put the wrong relievers in, it's the only logical explanation. I was just going to post something about Gallagher not pitching. He's been up a couple days now, and hasn't pitched in quite some time since his last start. Why not let him get his feet wet in a blowout? Don't understand it at all.

    Why would there ever be a reason to bat Jones 4th? Terrible.

    3b for Clemson. He's batting 3rd for Clemson against Miss State on ESPN right now if you want to see him.

    Didn't we pick Marquez Smith in last year's draft as well? Or am I thinking of someone else? He's getting ready to play in the College World Series Super Regionals on ESPN if anyone's interested in seeing him play.

    Yay Cubs!!! Good game tonight. I got home in the 6th, but it looks like Hill pitched awesome, and Dempster was great in the 9th. I see the offense scored early and shut it down again. Still a victory though, so I'll definitely take it. :D

    Looks like the Brewers see their window and are gonna try to win a World Series in the next couple years. The only explanation I can come up with picking a guy who's basically going to be trade bait.

    Cubs fans are never happy. The Cubs could win the World Series and there would still be complaining going on here. No, there wouldn't. Cubs fans are never happy because the Cubs never do the right thing and never win. QFT. I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be much complaining going on if the Cubs just won the World Series.
