    It's sad that we're all listening to this garbage on the Score, trying to find out if Jones has been traded.

    Murphy is making it seem like the move hasn't been made. He's talking about who should be traded, released, or sent down to add the pitcher tonight, and he said Jones is the obvious answer. He seems kind of dumb though, so maybe he just wasnt' paying attention to Offman.

    What? They just replayed a clip from Hendry this morning saying that Theriot wouldn't be sent down. Doesn't make any sense.

    They talked to Hendry this morning and he said "Theriot will not be sent back to the minors." Theriot isn't going anywhere.

    It's a game thread. People went through a ton of emotions last night. What's with all the English teacher's coming out of the word work and telling people how they should post? Who cares? "word work"? Leave me alone. :oops:

    Ripken aging, Arod moving, Garciaparra's injury all led to this. Now Tejada isn't the same player he was. Michael Young isn't having his usual season. A lot of top SS prospects have proven they can't handle the position on top of that. Yep. The SS position isn't what it once was. That's why we should just bring up Ronnie and let him play SS for a while to see if he can keep up his recent success. He's OPS'ing .979 at Iowa. Hendry should try to get an upgrade in RF because there aren't that many upgrades available for SS.

    Gotta love the narrator of that video. Obviously a White Sox fan. He didn't know who the Cubs' manager was and went crazy when Len said it's a felony to run on the field like that, which is actually is. He made fun of Lou, saying he looked drunk, but the narrator is obviously drunk himself as he's slurring his words. Wonder why he stopped the video before the Cubs came back? He was so excited that this was the "biggest choke in Cubs' history." And he's video taping his television? :lol:

    Guess he won't be getting the callup then.

    It looked like most of them were standing and watching. The Cubs' security did a really good job. Howry just stood there and was like "WTF are you doing?" He didn't look too worried about the situation. The guy was a scrawny guy who was obviously pretty drunk. Didn't look like he posed much of a threat.

    Just saw it again on CSN. It was seriously a great tackle by the security guard. He tackled the guy right before he got to Howry and got him into a nice rear-naked choke. Solid technique.

    Oh, they definitely took him to jail. What he did is a felony. Yep. Len mentioned that it's a 3rd degree felony to run on the field like that. He'll be jailed for the night and heavily fined.

    Lou has said he wants to get back to 12 pitchers. Putting Dempster on the DL means the Cubs need to bring up 2 pitchers.

    Meh. Wasn't that great. A great tackle by the security guy though. Took him down in a hurry. Lou just said in the press conference that Lovie will be looking to sign that guy.
