  1. The umpire squeezed Ohman there. There were 2 pitches that were easily strikes.
  2. Holy Crap. Ohman is getting squeezed terribly right now.
  3. Do we have any relievers who do throw a lot of strikes?
  4. Runners on 1st and 2nd. No outs. Klesko batting. Bonds in the hole.
  5. Wuertz has been pitching like crap lately.
  6. The guy who caught Barry's homerun ball was already offered $5000, but turned it down.
  7. Jones with a basehit off a lefty. He has 3 hits on the day.
  8. which, of course, was completed as described shortly thereafter. So basically no one is allowed to come on here and tell us about trade rumors then?
  9. I don't understand why everyone is giving reds44 such a hard time. It's not like he started the rumor. It was on the Redszone board well before it made our forum. reds44 has shown (with the Jones to Marlins almost-trade) that he does have some sort of inside information. Cut him some slack.
  10. We're going to be really short if Ward and Floyd both end up being day-to-day with Lee serving his suspension. I'm guessing we see Floyd hit the DL.
  11. I sometimes wonder if he makes lamp shades out of skin.
  12. Boo!! Morris being pulled. No more batting practice.
  13. Soriano with a bloop double and Lilly scores. 8-3 Cubs.
  14. He hit it hard, but lined right to Morris. Jones doubled off 1st.
  15. Haha. According to the CSN update, Sergio Mitre is winning the British Open.
  16. Going to the bottom of the 5th, Cubs winning 7-3. I'm amazed Lilly was able to get through 5 innings today. He's probably done, since he's over 100 pitches.
  17. It seems like Randy Winn is batting about .900 against the Cubs. He's always getting hits.
  18. There's no way he'd be in the lineup if there was a deal going down tonight. I'm calling BS.
