  1. It's good to know at least 1 guy on the team wants to play baseball.
  2. Spark? More like ball-catching magnet.
  3. Um...Lilly doesn't throw a knuckler there big guy.
  4. There's a neighborhood protection plan that the Cubs and the City of Chicago agreed to that has stipulations for amount of night games and noise ordinances. If you've ever noticed, the organist who plays music can't play past a certain time at night. I'm guessing the jumbotron noise would fall into this category.
  5. Huh? Gameday has him batting LH He definitely was batting RH. I guess it's because of the knuckleballer. I don't know. Yeah, I'm guessing he just felt like he'd be more comfortable hitting RH against a knuckleballer.
  6. Andres Blanco has over a 1.000 OPS in his 9 games since starting his "rehab" back at Iowa. He was 3-4 last night with 3 doubles.
  7. Ugh. I really don't want to watch Fox.

  9. It's going to take a lot for him to recover from this season. He looks completely lost at the plate now and basically lucks into hits. 3 sliders low and away is all it takes nowadays.
  10. I'm predicting an all-out brawl in the cubs dugout in one of the next games if the frustrations continue.
  11. Haha. Yes Len, we're tired of tipping our caps.
  12. The 3rd one almost went sailing into the Dodgers' dugout.
  13. It was a nice catch people. Fuld is nothing more than a 4th outfielder.
  14. Should have used Miles in that situation.
  15. Baseball instincts. He's stealing 2nd base. He has no idea that the ball got away from the catcher. I don't understand how you can fault him for this. It wasn't a hit and run, so he wasn't looking in to see the pitch.
  16. I'm at acceptance and hilarity. It's hilarious watching the Cubs have a complete meltdown.
  17. We make opposing pitchers look like Ted Williams.

  19. So he wants to keep Lou and Hendry and get rid of Zambrano? No. I'm actually surprised he didn't take his usual shot at Aram as well.
  20. I agree with maybe 3 of those. I got about 5-6. It's ridiculous that we don't have a video board anywhere in the stadium. It's 2009, not 1959. The Cubs don't need a Jumbotron to "affect the energy level of the crowd." Cubs fans don't need huge "Get Loud!" signs to tell them when it's an important situation in the game and when the crowd needs to get loud. I found it ridiculous that he mentioned that it helped pump the Dodgers faithful up. Isn't Wrigley pretty wild on its own? Yeah, those Dodger fans are too busy playing with beach balls to see what's going on on the field. They actually need a huge jumbotron to tell them to get loud. Wrigley def doesn't have that problem.
