That's what "the call stands" means. Otherwise he would've said "the call is confirmed". I thought they just said the call stands in all cases in college. I'm sure refs have said confirmed in college and I've heard it in the pros but I can't remember hearing it in college. I've heard 'confirmed' a few times in college. The Big Ten needs to do something about this, because this is embarrassing for the league. You can't just blatantly hand games to the big-ticket team in the conference without repercussion. You really think that is happening? Indiana's failure to convert and settle for fg's over and over again had nothing to do with the game. Was it a bad call, yes. Indiana failed to win this game more than anything. I think if you go back and read Andy's posts from week to week you'll find that all teams other than ND have the refs in their back pocket. Still, I'm a diehard Michigan fan and even I think they got the call wrong on that interception. Indiana definitely lost the game though by not converting in the red zone. Pathetic effort by Michigan today. That's 2 games in a row that they've looked like crap.
