    Heh. I think the rain will stop completely in a few minutes. Looking at the radar, the back end of the storm (front) is just about to pass Chicago. oh happy days. I hate the Houston Astros with a fiery passion that burns me more than the hatred I have for the Cardinals. Houston hatred>Iowa Hatred Wow. That is some serious hatred for a someone named illiniguy.

    Rain update: Sorry, there's still a very light sprinkle in the area. I just stepped outside and felt it, couldn't even see it from the window. Definitely not enough to stop a game, but who knows if they want to wait until it completely stops before starting one. Edit: Oh, well I guess the tarp is off. That's what I get for looking out a window instead of at tv. :)

    It's stopped at Wrigley, yes. Do you know if they've taken off the tarp yet? I'm only at my apartment so I don't know. I was actually straining to hear what the PA announcer was saying but couldn't quite pick it up. My guess is that we'll start getting prepared to play (though I haven't looked at any forecast).

    Is it piece or peace? I honestly don't know, but for some reason always thought it was peace. I guess that makes less sense though. I am obviously very bored.

    that was one of the best things i've ever seen. McMichael did what we all want to do to the nice guys in blue. :twisted: That was such a childish thing for McMichael to do, it made me really dislike him.

    That's some serious foresight to know the starters in September. If the Cubs don't take 5/7 from these Giants I will be disappointed.

    C'mon. nobody else liked this one? Stop being depressed about the game and concentrate on joe morgan's stupidity. No one cared when he said that Nomar was rehabbing at the Cardinals camp in Mesa either. That was Jon Miller that said that. Is there really much difference between the two? They're both stupid, biased, and horrible announcers. I'm just clarifying.

    A-Rod did look at his citizenship card. It has two countries on it as he has dual citizenship, USA & DR. The United States doesn't recognize dual citizenship, I'm fairly sure. The DR may recognize his U.S. citizenship, but the U.S. doesn't recognize his DR citizenship. Linkage Those crazy Maltese with their complicated laws...
