Great article Matt. I've been reading your stuff for years and I find it to be as good as anything out there for professional level MLB data analysis. On this article specifically, I found it helpful on how to look at swing path statcast data. I've been trying to learn some Python and I used this article as inspiration to try some analysis with pybaseball. This is a comparison of contact rate to swing tilt difference on fastballs in the upper third to fastballs in the lower third. Hope the screenshot comes through. If it doesn't the correlation was 0.325. Nico featured on the top end of the barrel manipulators for me.
