Thanks for the reporting and article. Unexpectedly exciting possibility today. Doesn't deGrom's contract look reasonably favorable for the team in 2028? As far as I can tell from Spotrac, it's currently a reasonably priced team option, and only becomes a huge player option if his 2027 has a combination of quantity and quality that would make that pretty palatable. Am I missing something?
