Really thoughtful piece, Matthew. I was very curious about the Cubs perspective on the trade and this article makes it clearer. Would I like to have Paredes, Smith and Wisnewski? Yes but maybe we miss the wildcard in 25 and maybe we don’t have Bregman in 26. I loved watching every game last year and much of it was the Tucker hype and their first half performance.
