  1. I told you Dansby will be committing bonehead plays down the stretch. I stated this a couple of days ago on the pattern this team has done the last 2 years. He D always sucks down the stretch
  2. It’s the offense likes it’s been the last 3years down the stretch. Common denominator are 3 players that have been your core the go on prolong slumps, Happ, Suzuki and Dansby. They give you a couple of good weeks and disappear for months. Changes need to be made with that core.
  3. I’ve already said this every game. This is not a slump it’s who they are. 3rd year in a row and will miss the playoffs, watch.
  4. Sign Tucker at a much lower price. Get rid of Happ and bring up Cassie to play left next year .Dansby is another dud I wish they could move and place Hoerner a short and find a bat for 2nd base next year
  5. All the remains to happen Is Suzuki going down again with oblique muscle which happens every year!
  6. They will most likely not get in playoffs based on the teams recent history with same players. Bad hitting down the stretch every year, Boneheaded Defense on supposedly great D players (Dansby)! Every year his D and boneheaded plays costs them games down the stretch. He’s doing it again this year and please don’t bring up his weak base hits today
  7. This team isn’t in a slump it’s just doing exactly as it has the last 3 years . It’s what this offense is. Please stop with the Tucker finger excuse for his crap play. This team is what they are
  8. Team is doing exactly what it’s done the last 3 seasons in being bad at offense. Too many streak players in one team. Happ, Suzuki and useless Dansby go dead for prolonged periods of time down the stretch every year. There are to many of them in the lineup.
  9. Cut it out! This is not the 2016 team. Not even close.
  10. Somehow Dansby is involved in the collapse every year with bonehead play. Remember against the Arizona ? Botched easy play in critical series. Botched base running blunder? Same players same results
  11. Did I not tell you the Reds will catch the Cub before the end of the season. I’ll told you so.. this team is doing exactly what it’s done the last couple of seasons. They will miss the playoffs . Watch
  12. Mark my words the Cubs will be fighting for the 3rd wildcard with Reds
  13. I told you to watch out for Reds At 3rd wildcard,
  14. If the Cubs make the playoffs and that’s not a given it will be as the 3rd wildcard team. Mets and Phillies are better teams. They will not win the central and most likely fighting off the Reds for final spot. Watch!
  15. Can Giants, Reds or Cards knock them out?
  16. This team will be fighting too hold onto the 3rd wildcard. The Cubs will probably play 500 the rest of the way as currently constructed. I believe they have a 3 game lead in wildcard. Ask yourself are there 2/3 teams behind them that can knock them out of playoffs? I believe the answer is highly probable
  17. Let’s be real! Should’ve lost yesterday’s as well. Palencia gave up the lead as well if it wasn’t for the wind saving them. Bullpen is mediocre.
  18. I’ll take Dodgers starters over Cubs anytime. Better stuff overall.
  19. Cubs are currently built for the regular season win totals but will not get very far due to no actual ace! Imanaga has been really good but he’s a 2 and Boyd is a 2/3. Tallion is a 3 at best on a good pitching staff. Pitching wins in the playoffs especially when it gets cold. 2016 had good hitting and Superior Starters to match the opposing Aces.
  20. Not panic but stating that the Brewers fix is much easier to obtain than the pitching woes cubs need to fix
  21. Cubs will lose division base on terrible hitting against lefties due to guys like Swanson not being able to hit anything beside a fastball and starting pitching will not hold up in playoffs. Get a number 1 or 2 starter and put Ben Brown in the bullpen. Brewers have the pitching but lack hitters. Much easier to get a hitter than a pitcher worth a crap at the deadline. Basically the Brewers are in better shape to make a deal
