Silva has been judged a pile of poo by the 29 other teams, been released, and been given the Stone Cold Salute by Mike Quade. A happy ending to this thread. -
I'm definitely a Mike Quade fan now. To quote: "I was really disappointed when I heard [silva's comments]. First of all, he's dead f---ing wrong, OK, about my pitching coach. And I have no f---ing time for that." Quade continued to admonish the former Cubs pitcher. "Respect is a two-way street," he said. "I don't want to hear anything about respect. If you ain't giving it, you ain't getting it." Has a little Lee Elia in him.

What's strange about the RISP is we have three of the top twenty in the majors yet rank only 6th a a team. I guess that means if it ain't Lee, Theriot, or Floyd we do stink at driving them in.
