    Then why is he getting significantly out slugged by Billy Hamilton against better competition? Ffs dude. You can love a prospect, but don’t wear blinders. PCA needs to step up and prove it. He simply hasn’t yet. Until he does everything is just conjecture. Maybe one way he could boost his slug is not trying to bunt for a hit every other horsefeathers plate appearance, and maybe he would stop if he was more confident in his hit tool. Currently, PCA is a poor man’s Billy Hamilton. Hopefully he develops further, but he simply hasn’t yet. Idk know why this comp infuriated you to the response of multiple snarky posts, but here we are. 23 yr old Billy Hamilton was better than 22 PCA. It’s just the way it is.

    Yes, I am. Hamilton didn’t have the swing path that let him artificially take advantage of crappy Milb pitching like PCA can. It’s not the flex you’re making it out to be. Even with 60% gb, he’s still out slugging PCA. It just is what it is.

I understand you like a prospect, and hope that they will develop and be better at some point, or have a more fruitful career; however, when both of you talk about ISO, you might actually want to look at the numbers. Granted, Billy didn't really get MLB playing time until he was 23 vs PCA at 22 - BUT Billy Hamilton at 23 actually put up more ISO & SLG than PCA has put up. It's pretty fair comp at this point, if anything its unfair to Hamilton because he was better.

    He's hitting .294 BA, .375 OBP, 963 OPS, and a 168 wRC+ against LHP so far. I don't have the team splits, but I'd guess given how trash our offense has been that's probably top 3 against LHP. Happ was awful against LHP when they tried him at leadoff, so they're putting him there because of top 3rd productivity and because it doesn't require them to move any of the everyday lineup players around where they start crapping the bed because they're hitting leadoff, like Happ. I understand it, but I just don't like it.

    I hate how Amaya is constantly striking out looking on fastballs. Holy horsefeathers, develop an emergency swing. You’re hitting .180.

    This team is so hard to watch right now. You know things are bad when horsefeathers Mike Tauchman and Patrick Wisdom have been some of their best players. I like Tauchman and Wisdom, but that should never ever be the case, and we're about to enter into June.
