So glad Eli Morgan is throwing batting practice while we have Thompson at Triple A. There's no excuse for our bullpen being dogshit. We have depth for once.

Yeah, that’s what I would guess. They were able to sneak Thompson through and retain him, I’m guessing they’d like to do the same with Poteet, so the 40 man stops being such a crunch.

I miss the version that was throwing 101 mph … until his shoulder self destructed.

According to stat cast, instead of topping out at 101 like he did last year he was only hitting 96. Looked to be only averaging 95, instead of 98. Velo is still down a bit. Hope he finds that next level again. He could be an interesting injury replacement if he does.

I’m not sure if we have had a radar gun for any of his outings this year, but the eye test would say his velo is down from ST last year. Unless and until he gets back to averaging 98, he’s basically just organization depth for starts in Iowa.

Yeah, Killian didnt look like he had over powering velo he had last year in ST. Wish the broadcast had a gun.

Keller looked solid. He touched 97 in a limited appearance. Workman with an oppo bomb off a lefty. Not too bad.

LH bat. Good size. I like his swing path. Moves well for being 6’4. Had good hands and made some solid plays on some non routine plays. Brujan just doesn’t excite me. He looked quick on his stolen base, I guess. 🤷♂️

Yamamoto also only topped out at 96, so it looks pretty accurate. Workman looks like he might be a keeper. I’d already rather have him than Brujan.
