    A week left of Boog and JD and then we get national broadcasters every night. That makes me sad.

    I did the that in 2016 when the division was clinched in the middle of September. But these days I feel like it’s a waste of money, as I’ve paid for MLB.TV, if I don’t watch as many games as possible. So I am watching horsefeathers Baseball. Do I hate myself? Probably.

    Nico Hoerner has quietly put together a great year. No one has said “Wow! What a great year he’s having.”. You’d think he hasn’t put together the best year on his own Baseball team, let alone in the NL. Top 6 is NL WAR, all positions (hitters and pitches). Top 4 in NL WAR (position players), tied with Soto and 0.1 behind Ohtani. Third in NL WAR for defensive players. Second in batting average in the NL.
