Love reading your stories about meeting great Chicago Cubs players of another era. My brush with running into a Cubs player was when I was standing close to Albert Almora Jr. Not an all time great like in previous posts. But dude is tall + he had the single greatest advance from 1st to 2nd in Chicago Cubs history. So there’s that. 😛 Did I speak to him? I did not.

Remember when people used to be in awe of Aroldis Chapman throwing 100? Now it’s seems like 20-30 guys around baseball throw 102-105 consistently.
