    I know this board is often irrationally pessimistic, and I have personally contributed to that sort of sentiment, but I honestly don’t have much hope this offense is going to score 2 more runs this game, and I don’t think that’s an irrational take at all.

    Earlier in the year I wouldn’t sweat this, but now I’m never sure when the offense has simply given their two runs and are done scoring for the night.

    I mean, of course everyone knows he’s fast, but watching plays like that puts that speed into a visual context that continues to blow me away. Speed kills, and it’s so much fun to watch.

    PCA hit a flare to left and was called out trying to stretch a double. It was challenged and overturned.

    Hey, @Jason Ross: To what do you attribute Nico’s overall lack of slug? Is it swing speed? He seems to make decently hard contact, and I’d assume with his frame he’d be capable of 10-15 HRs a year.

    I absolutely love Matthew Boyd. He’s been amazing for this team, and by all accounts, he is a really good dude. Easy to root for.
