After completely and wholly improving their roster yesterday in a totally wild deadline (nod your head in agreement for Dear Leader Jed), the Cubs get to take on the Orioles in the extremely-hyped up Andrew Kittredge revenge game.

Feel free to dump league-wide trades in here, too. The Cubs remain "dogged" in their pursuit of starting pitching, from what we know. Based on the fact they acquired two rental relievers for (good) down-the-list prospects, I expect the blockbuster to come today for a controllable starter. Remember that Jed is historically very patient with this crap, so don't be surprised if we're waiting until after the buzzer for confirmation of a deal.

As a recap of what's already happened with the Cubs (will keep this updated throughout the day): Cubs trade Christian Franklin and Ronny Cruz for Michael Soroka (Nationals) Cubs trade Wilfri de la Cruz for Andrew Kittredge (Orioles) That's two relievers down, starting pitching and a bat to go. What are you thinking with the deadline coming in at 5pm CST today?
