    Forgot the Cubs were playing at 1:20. Glad I didn’t sit thru this. They’re toast, a short tease these last couple of weeks.

    Might be my last game at Wrigley this year. 2nd no hitter I’ve witnessed. Last one was at Miller Park when Big Z no hit the Astros!

    Belli has been pretty cold lately. I think anyone is pretty much a bad matchup for him right now.

    Shoulda let Jamo pitch the 8th. I rarely see Counsell let these guys go 100+. Hate to break it to you Counsell but this isn’t the Milwaukee bullpen.

    Merryweather hasn’t looked sharp at all since coming back. Not sure what Craig’s logic was giving him 2 innings. Cubs didn’t play yesterday, everybody should've been available tonight.

    That was an incredible comeback. I figured they were cooked but I watched the 9th anyway. Glad I did.

    Fine deadline. No one was going to take Cody or Neris off our hands.

    I’d let PCA keep getting consistent ABs. If he becomes a league average bat (or close to it), that’s a great player to have. The Cubs have nothing to lose this year anyway.

    I’m not PH’ing Busch who has been top 2 hitter on this team to give Wisdom an AB who seldom picks up game ABs.
