  1. Tom dreesen has been singing the 7th every season since the inventing of singing in Wrigley
  2. Are u moving Assad to the bully? Taillon to the bosox?
  3. I wish JD was interviewing Jon. Joe G. Is such a goon
  4. Wowser 29 and still 4 years under control. And very little usage mileage on his arm. He's someone to keep imo. Not someone I'd off-load.
  5. BTW, I'm at my 1 year anniversary here and my angst is higher than ever
  6. Just wondering who actually deserves the true credit for imanaga signing from initial scouting to going out on a limb and suggesting the signing? I mean his deal is so much cub weighted they should offer him a raise in pay out of pure principals and sheer guilt. Haha.
  7. Ego pumper, justin-case. Billionaires have a very unique way of not losing $1 of the $237m
  8. Im guessing Most attendees do it for the experience, not a winning team. Looking at a typical itinerary, drop kids at grandparents home for the weekend all the while promising when they get older they can come along too. get in the night before, stay at the Hilton. Go to Gibsons for steak and libations. Later going to a nightspot for more libations. Returning to the 5 star accommodation suite. Then doing what comes naturally. Waking up and having a very excellent breakfast buffet. Then walking over to the ballpark where the marvelous aromatherapy of hotdogs, nachos and Italian beef fill the nasal palate. Oh and there just happens to be a ballgame. Cubs lose? So what? We Got our monies worth. Cub fans hah!! Rickets crickets
  9. I know yu was being paid big bucks but he was locked in for 3. Very different $ but locked in none the less. I just hate giving up prime strong members of a mlb rotation for something maybe 5 years down the road in someone else's generational time zone. Could darvish been the difference maker last year when we fell short one or two victories from our own orgasmic finish similar to the dbacks?
  10. Dude, you're painting such a rosey picture I wish I knew how to post vomit emogi
  11. Much like darvish deal. We would only have to wait 5 years for the fruit to ripen
  12. Very Highly Paid Player is another term. Let's sign a VHPP.
  13. But 8 years ago he was the type of prospect who appeared to make dreams come true. Can't give up hope! I'm still finding him just absolutely dreamy and hopeful. Much like when Todd Hundley became a cubbie
  14. The true definition of slim pickings when a career backup who will be entering age 30 is probably the best option to satisfy our lust for jeds 85 win wildcard contention over the next 3 or 4 seasons.
  15. The fundamentals haven't been fun for the cubs. Seiya with a boner
