Minor League Discussion & Boxes, 8-26-23

Yeah he's a bust -
Yep just don't understand the decision. Guess Ross is trying to give Bellinger a "half off day".
-
Wisdom in the lineup and playing 1B is definitely a decision. Surely even he can hit the crap pitcher they are facing today.

Yeah you are right, just what I was hoping for. Personally I think it's more detrimental to continually be in a non challenging environment for growth. -

I think you gotta be aggressive and promote Shaw to AA. Skenes is already there. -
Probably spent too much time partying with the proud boys instead of working on his craft.
-
Demote Wesneski and call up Little
-
Why tf did Suzuki bring that ball back into play
-
Terrible job by Wesneski. Now they gotta go with the overused arms
-
They were up 7 and Wesneski is refusing to throw strikes
-
I'd let him go one more but I think they'll pull him now
-
This guy is gonna throw a 80 pitch cg shutout
-
Steele does not have anything in the tank
-
Hope he's refound it, he was still pretty inconsistent at Iowa.
-
Idk what the actual numbers are but feels like he's been really good in the clutch this year
-
Yeah he had a great game! A lesser individual would have noticed that Wisdom was 10 out of his last 47 since coming back up. You are just as smart as Ross!!
-
Good to see Wisdom starting. Great player. Great person. Ross is such a good manager. Great decision maker. Great person.
-
I think spending 20 mil on a cof struggling to put up any slug is a failure. He'll be the 10th highest paid outfielder next year and his wrc+ is barely top 50 for outfielders.
-
Good thing Hoyer extended Happ for 20 mil a year
-
Cuas is due for a big implosion. No control at all
-
This offense has a lot of fight in it, hopefully Ross stops trying to blow the game.
-
Think literally any pitcher in the org right now would be a more competitive choice to have pitch out there right now. Smyly is just toast, just awful.
-
He watched that hr for a good minute. Bet he feels good smacking his old team, hope he goes on a hot streak
-
Wonder if hoyer will buck up and release smyly with another year to go on his contract. So many bad contracts handed out by hoyer.
-
Yeah they are getting overused to death. Hoyer needs to bring up some new arms to get a look at, don't get the point of keeping relievers around that Ross only feels like using during blowouts.
