    i have been sort of blown away by how bryant has been pitched. he's obviously high-profile after his track record and his spring, but i thought it was just a given that mlb pitchers started every rookie out with a "well, he hasn't seen MY fastball" period. he's pitched around from day one.

    idk why but if we're gonna do the pitcher 8th all year i kinda want montero 9th eventually we are very much splitting hairs here but i like the idea of giving montero all the pa in front of the pitcher where he's getting pitched around and letting addison raaaaaake that's not bad i just hate that i have to wait so long to see addyyyyyy a fair point

    put the best 23 players we can possibly find on the major league team, while also carrying a pitcher who doesn't pitch and a washed up catcher who gets to play once every 5 games. i will be a jaxon for solid setup man truther until the day he is dfa'ed you are right about the third catcher though.

    i like this a ton if only because i've always desperately wanted starlin to say stuff like this just to get the meatballs off his back. starlin is way too important and good to get run out of town. i personally don't care about the stuff he says or whether he looks sad after errors or whether he runs hard to first base on 100% of popups, but jesus christ do i ever care that he not get run out of here. the "starlin finally matured and i bet it's cause we yelled at him so much when he was young" stuff from the meatballs both within and without the media will be annoying, but it's sadly necessary. good on starlin for heading in that direction.
