  1. all over the back of deng. congrats on the win, refs, hope you at least made some money.
  2. is it possible to call a triple foul on one person? they should do that.
  3. they sure don't miss any calls that go against the bulls, do they? like i said, a total disgrace by the refs, they are embarassing themselves and their family members.
  4. you breathe on durant and it's a foul but rose gets hammered by 3 guys, one of whom is from switzerland, and it's "great defense". this game is a total sham, why did they even make the bulls play it?
  5. that is just a disgraceful call, a [expletive] disgrace.
  6. i've been watching for a while and have yet to see rose on the floor. did he foul out or something?
  7. i'm starting to appreciate keeping noah.
  8. Joe Bertrand's probably relieved. Joe can actually play point guard from what I've read. Chasson was scared of Tracy, Mychael, D.J., Brandon and Crandall. I don't blame him. i'm excited about joe. he's a full 2-inches taller than paul, which puts him around 6-6. he can handle the rock and he can jump. just needs to work on shooting.
  9. I liked: better. i also implied that i hope he dies from grief after watching the illini win a national championship while stanford continues their long tradition of losing.
  10. i know you're just trolling but that's not true at all. there are a couple things illinois does better, and basketball is one of them. Illinois has had its moments, but it's not like they are some behemoth. I've said since the time I was in college that if I had it all over again I'd go to Stanford in a heartbeat. If somebody has an opportunity they should go there, especially over Champaign. well, it's never too late to make a fresh start for yourself. but seriously, stanford is not better at everything than illinois. most things, but not everything.
  11. i know you're just trolling but that's not true at all. there are a couple things illinois does better, and basketball is one of them.
  12. I don't. I just think Chasson did not want to be at Illinois. He's afraid of the guard situation. I think he's a great talent but I think that also says a lot about his competitive mindset. Clearly winning and competing for playing time were not things he was interested in. If he makes the league he's made the right decision. If he uses his Stanford degree to get into medical school he's still made the right decision. I wish him the best of luck. he's not an NBA prospect and if he wants to go to medical school there's virtually no difference between an undergrad degree from stanford or illinois.
  13. in basketball?
  14. randle to stanford. i hope he falls off a cliff.
  15. lol, now it's 5 pm central everything is fine, good night.
  16. in summation; randle = stanford shaw = illinois and i'm fine with that.
  17. i've gone over it again and again in my mind, and every time i weigh the pros and cons of illinois vs. stanford for randle, i come up with stanford. especially for a kid who has lived in the qc all his life. the only things that illinois clearly leads on are the chance to win a national championship and being able to play with tracy abrams, and perhaps the price of travel and hotel accommodations for his parents. but he can start right away at stanford and get a world-class education in one of the world's foremost cosmopolitan areas. i just don't see being buried on the bench his first couple of years and living in the champaign area as any competition, even with the abrams factor. the fact is, randle really doesn't know anyone else who's going to be on the team well, so familiarity isn't all that huge of an edge.
  18. i think it's stanford.
  19. yes. hamilton and parker should be top 10. i still think, no matter what the rankings say, that hamilton is the best player in the country in that class.
  20. Depends how in-depth you want to go. There are 2 or 3 other guys in '11 that are being recruited, but don't yet have scholarship offers (Langford, Holton, Holmes maybe?) 2012 has Gary Harris, AJ Hammons, DeJuan Marrero and Steve Taylor as the main targets, but how realistic the first 2 are is up for debate. i thought for a while that marrero was very close to verballing, but apparently xavier is in the picture big time. he's not ranked in the top 75 on scout. he'll probably be anywhere between 75-100. but the kid is terribly underrated. he's a must get, i think.
  21. 1. Why are you posting premium information? People pay for that. 2. Scout blows. 3. Its pretty apparent Randle wants to be at Stanford, and would be if it weren't for the distance. Truth is no one will know where he's going until he says where he is going. please don't discourage him from posting free info. if he gets banned he gets banned, why should we all lose out?
  22. and i'm hearing major major good things for the illini.
  23. and this is the only kind of discussion you're gonna get. so get discussing.
  24. Nobody cares, as in YOU don't care. Evidenatally SOMEONE (ME) cares enough to post it. Why do you have to be such a prick? sorry, i didn't mean to say nobody cares. one person cares about kansas state's ooc (and i'm including the person who posted it originally), and two people care about duke's and one of them is the reincarnation of mizzou as a duke fan.
  25. with that, only my teams, gentlemen. this is another example of getting laughably unlucky in addition to being bad. we really deserved to win this game. we were better.
