I do think Morel has the tools to be a good defender while Busch probably has a ceiling of slightly below average.

This wouldn't have been necessary if we didn't take Ryan Jensen over Busch in the 2019 draft, but here we are.

I would say its more lack of arm strength than anything. He has a noodle arm and he's not a great athlete. Some have said he's ok at 2B. Dude can rake and has hit literally everywhere though. I like the trade. Just close your eyes if he is playing 3B.

Busch is really good. Interesting trade. I don't see how Busch can play 3B now considering he couldn't play it in high school. I would keep him at 1B/DH.

The cats out of the bag. It's too bad that there wasn't a salary cap/floor put in place during the 94 strike. I get that the players wouldn't have liked it, but it would have been better for the sport. Look at how fun free agency is for NBA/NFL and then there is the boredom of baseball now that we are littered with Ivy league cowards running teams. It may be smart, but it's not fun. -

I'm dumb what does A, C, G, and T mean. Jed almost certainly won't do one of these 12 year deals. Maybe that's Ricketts, but I know Jed likes the OKC Thunder and Sam Presti so that way to build is what tickles his fancy.

It's also not in Jed's DNA to go long on these years. Until that changes we are going to have to play in the kiddie pool.

They don't seem to care. So many gutless owners/GM's like the Mariners and Cubs who are more concerned about making sure they are profitable year to year rather than going for it. These teams are all making money.
