Good thing MLB made a decision and was able to get the Astros out of town before the hurricane hit. Oh wait... This is all on McClane. Houston only has their idiot owner to blame for not making the decision in advance. They could and should have travelled on Friday, no problem. There are seven domed/indoor stadiums in MLB currently: ARI HOU MIL MIN TB TOR SEA Of the seven, only Houston and Arizona were to be playing at home this weekend. Therefore, there were 5 available. If McClain hadn't been an idiot and waited way to long, and then wanted to play in Atlanta, an open stadium when MLB did not want to risk the games being rained out and making the move pointless, as then it would be a waste of time and money. He could have easily gotten the game played in a more truely neutral site (like there is one, the Cubs fans would always be the majority). MIN would have probably been out with MIL as being Northern, Tor and Sea due to distance, leaving TB. And people shouldn't bother saying "play the games at the end of the season" as that would not only delay the playoffs, but also be even more unfair to the Cubs, Brewers, Phillies, Mets, and whoever wins the west, as the Cubs lose whatever advantage they may have gotten by clinching early, while the Astros get an advantage by basically playing the AAA team that the Cubs would have started. McClain was trying to force MLB to kiss his ass and give him what he wanted and loss.
