First post. Been lurking since 2003. I was already married with children in 1984. That was painful. But the scars of '69 last longer, because everything hurts more when you are a kid and don't understand the ways of the world I don't even know what to feel. I won't be going to bed for a while. My grandmother,(who was born before Frank Chance became the Cubs manager) died more than 30 years ago; she was a huge Cubs fan and is responsible for all of us becoming Cubs fans. If the Cubs go all the way, the winning sports page and a Cubs hat will be placed on her grave , with a small note saying ,"they did it!"
