  1. Maybe I'm missing something, but, you think it is stupid that a celebrity posting a bare ass photo of her NFL QB husband is "a thing"? In what world would this not be a thing? For it to be NSFW Maybe I'm missing something, but, you think it is stupid that a celebrity posting a bare ass photo of her NFL QB husband is "a thing"? In what world would this not be a thing? I think he was talking about the censorship part, not Jays trendy bare ass
  2. What are the Cubs players ratings on the new Show? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
  3. I thought bare ass didn't need censorship in the U.S. So stupid that this is a thing.
  4. I think a Pillar type batting line is certainly possible with Almora. He's gonna carry a BA north of 275 but probably won't walk more than 5%. If he can crack 10-15 HR and a good rate of doubles though, he should produce about league average offense over-all. I don't think he necessarily needs to steal bags but take extra bases and be efficient enough to provide good value there. I'm anxious to see his defensive metrics over big samples. He certainly passes the eye test with flying colors. His anticipation and routes are unreal.
  5. Almora with a fantastic catch at the LCF wall. Just effortless.
  6. Really impressive game for Willson and Almora at the plate. Almora 2 hard singles, one to each side.
  7. I just added this sports package that's supposed to give me CSN... but it's not. So I won't even be able to see Reign Men like I thought I would.
  8. horsefeathers yeah, #2 for Willson as he takes Salazar oppo Salazar is mowing everyone else down
  9. He's gonna wear out the PCL
  10. Schwarber carries teams, not the other way around
  11. Matusz will probably end up selling his
  12. I remember in 2015 they showed that Statcast measured KB's top speed to be on par with Dee Gordon and on that h&r it was on full display. His base running is impeccable.
  13. Well DJ was sitting around 93 I believe with his exit velocity last year. That will play in any park. But he has largely been a similar hitter prior to that, relying on an inside-out approach. But the exit velo shows that the bat speed is certainly legit and the potential for power is there, even without Coors. This is not a very accurate interpretation of exit velocity. Maybe in a park whose dimensions are the reason for it being a hitter's park, but Coors is flattening breaking balls, which makes them 1) easier to drive and 2) forces pitchers into more fastballs anyway. There's also some potential measurement hazards of exit velocity calculated at altitude, but that's secondary to the point. I can't go to a funhouse of mirrors that shows I'm 9 feet tall and say that makes me 9 feet tall elsewhere, same logic applies. I get that, but I don't think he'd be able to maintain 92.5 if he wasn't putting up some very good EV on the road as well. Lemahieu led the Rockies, and was a full 2 MPH higher than Arenado, for instance, who was 2nd on the team.
  14. Do they use Statcast in any milb stadiums?
  15. One thing is for sure: Parks was right. Javy has become a religion.
  16. I love Benny but the Baez/Russell tandem has a chance to be legendary
  17. Javy does that sick tag and throw DP again. So slick.

  19. That's not a bummer at all. I initially thought a small sprain.
  20. http://www.chicagonow.com/cubs-den/2017/03/john-andreoli-and-the-makeup-of-the-modern-mlb-bench/
  21. Cubs Den just had this debate recently and the jist was that Andreoli really can't play CF and with the glut of corner OF we already have, he's probably never gonna get that opportunity with us. We exposed him to the R5 twice and nobody claimed him even though he looks like a serviceable backup. With teams going with more pitchers in today's game, the 5th OF is being phased out. Add the fact that hes a RH and hes got a couple big strikes against him. This is why Hannemann was protected over both he and Rademacher. I like Andreoli and Rademacher and I'll be intrigued to watch their careers develop. Just not sure it will happen with the Cubs.
  22. Could not agree more with your first paragraph. I'm actually gonna pick them as my AFC team to pull for. There's gonna be so much young talent on that team in a couple years. They're gonna look like the football version of the Cubs. They've done an outstanding job on the teardown. Best I've ever seen. And they'll probably trade back several more times throughout the draft and continue compiling picks. So jealous. For us, I wish we had traded down in the 1st and got some picks for Jeffery last year. I hate the fact that we got absolutely nothing for him because he torpedoed his season. It was obvious this team did not have talent to compete and Pace failed there in my eyes. And he could have piled up several future picks by trading back from 9.
