    The "power" will come for Kepley. He only needs to hit 5-10 HR. Kwan was a 3 war player with a 5 HR season and damn near a 5 win player with 6 in his rookie season. I expect Kepley would provide more bsr and potentially defensive value as well. The height is less of a concern these days. Freaking Frelick managed a 115 last year and was 3.5. Pretty similar to Kepley as a prospect, Offensively. IDK, I'm overzealous, and he will almost certainly never take an AB as a Cub but this dude has just about a half seasons worth of PA as a pro and has: 15 XBH, 30 SB, 54:31 BBK, 15 HBP, 2 GDP, ludicrous LD rates with really low GB. He's a dirtbag and a really fun player to root for.

    Those last 2 plays are easily some of the best plays I've ever seen a player make. I think Nico feels slighted, probably feels some sort of way about Brice Turang like we all do, and he's going all-out this year to get the recognition he deserves. Those plays are insanely fun to watch.

    Well it was my turn to fall asleep and miss the beautiful chaos. They were up 4-2, I was really hoping to wake up to a blow out, but alas. Kudos to the resiliency of this team. Just remarkable. And this forum never gave up. People were rightly pissed at Counsell but I dont think I saw any defeatist posts. Theres a true vibe right now that we are never out of it. PCA's first Wrigley HR this year! 295/367/537 over his last 2 weeks guys. .3 BBK is not great but its improvement. 2 huge clutch hits in this series. Really nice to see him go to the short gap. Its right up there with RF in Yankee Stadium for its cheapness. Take advantage! It would be so heartwarming to win on our 10 year anniversary. Keep this horsefeathers up, please, all the way through November. I really want Jed to jump the market. Go get some young guys that aren't really working out with their current teams the way the Brewers did last year with Priester and Vaughn. You have plenty of ammo!

    Find a deal like the Brewers swung for Priester. You dont have to wait 2 months, and you have plenty of superfluous pieces to move IMO

    The Cubs should probably aim higher. Maybe if he were still the 30% K guy. This year he's actually barely above average. And he gives up a horsefeathers ton of flyballs.

    So let's talk about Murray. 340/426/570 with 13/18 K and walk rates. Almost 500 AAA PA. Hes gotta be really intriguing as a plug/play 3B for downtrodden teams. His defense is supposed to be pretty sound, fg gave him a 50. Pairing him and Long gets you what?

    Interested to see how quickly the Sox lock him up. They are not going to trade him. He will get the biggest contract in team history.
