[tweet] [/tweet] So if you don't want to watch the video he lists his very early projection for the top 5 picks in this year's MLB Draft. His list: 1. LHP - S. McClanahan 2. RHP - B. Singer 3. RHP - C. Mize 4. SS/2B - N. Madrigal 5. LHP - M. Liberatore I like Jim Callis, but I feel like his mock drafts and knowledge/inside info gets a lot better once we get closer to the draft. I'm not sure if Singer is regarded that highly anymore by scouts. Has his stuff bounced back? I'm not sure if Madrigal goes that high either with his wrist injury. -

I would hate that selection. He might end up being good, but it seems to me like its much more likely that he's a inefficient high volume scorer. But when you haven't tanked hard enough you are left a draft position where there isn't a high floor high ceiling guy available most likely. Well, you're not going to like this either. Here is another mock draft that has the Bulls selecting PG Trae Young. I hope it's just speculation right now. I'm definitely intrigued by his play. I'll watch some more video and read some scouting reports on Chandler Hutchinson. He doesn't seem super long or explosive. I wonder how much separation he could create against better defenders in the NBA. His outside shot looks really good and his ballhandling skills seem solid.

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. Hankins like Liberatore will only fall to the Cubs if he's injured and/or his stuff really falls off in quality. -

Man that's a really weird delivery. It's like he lost a bet to someone on the Dodgers last year and that player told him he has to imitate Kershaw's delivery... except it has to be a really shitty imitation.

I'm not really familiar with Chandler Hutchinson. I remember reading a small blurb about him. It sucks that there isn't a lot of good international players in this draft that you can keep overseas and allow to develop like Mirotic.

http://www.tankathon.com/mock_draft Here's another mock draft I found that lets you simulate the lottery. I've done it a bunch of times so far and gotten the Bulls with the #1 pick once lol. It doesn't seem to matter which team gets the #1 pick though. Every team selects DeAndre Ayton when they get the top pick. Ayton did not look good in the game in which Arizona got eliminated. My favorite prospect (Bagley) is still in the tournament, but I don't know how much he's helped his stock.

How did Cobb get $60 mil/4 yrs this late into ST? The Orioles tried to wait as long as possible to get a discount and they still had to offer this to get him to sign? Was there a bidding war? Good job by his agent.

I've said it before, but if that's the way the top 7 fall out, give me Mikal Bridges. Best case scenario is Trae Young ends up as a smaller Jamal Crawford. Would be pretty much unplayable against any upper level point guard, and really don't want to waste that pick on some volume shooter backup PG. Yeah, I would hope the Bulls take Mikal Bridges if the top 7 shakes out that way. I don't think Trae Young ends up being a bust, but I think it's a possibility with him. Honestly, after that top 6-7 a lot of the players selected will end up being busts. I like Bridges because he has such a high floor and will at least be a rotation player.

I agree with you guys that Trout will probably still be the best player in baseball in a few years, but if there is a candidate to overtake him it's Correa. I agree with everything you wrote except Trout or Harper reaching another level and putting up Bonds-like numbers at some point in their careers. I feel like this is as good as it gets for those two (damn good). I think they've reached their potential ceilings. They could still get better, but I doubt that will happen. I feel like Correa has more variance and has a chance to improve and become way better. Honestly, I just was trying to compare Correa against Harper, and said if Harper is getting $400 million then how much is Correa getting. Correa put up 6.3 WAR in only 109 games last year at the age of 22.

No, I was just saying I'm sick of these threads and someone said it's a joke. I knew it was a (bad) joke, but I wrote "There was a joke. I guess I missed it" and then it took off from there lol. Oh, I know everyone knows it's not clever or funny. I was just saying I hate these stupid titles is how it started.

I don't know about that. I guess I could see Correa slowing down and/or losing range as he gets older. If that happens he should move over to 3B. I'm very high on Correa. He would have put up a monster year in terms of WAR if he didn't miss so much time last season. I think his ceiling is actually higher than Harper, but the chances of reaching it are low. If he can stay at SS and actually reaches those ARod comps he is the most valuable player in MLB. I'm not exactly sure how good he is defensively, but I think he has a fair chance of staying at SS. Higher ceiling than Harper? Better than Trout if he hits his ceiling? Nah, sorry. Again, the ceiling for a player is their highest possible projection. The chances are low that he ever reaches that point like I said. I could see Correa being the best player in MLB in a few years. That's not a crazy idea. He's already one of the best players in MLB.

If you don’t want to reveal your exact age just tell us whether you are younger or older than Khalil Greene Fine lol. I'm younger than Khalil Greene by a good amount. Btw, they were asking your age because they can't tell if you are 15 or something. Hahaha. That's so dumb. Why does that matter? A 15 year old has a sense of humor and gets jokes. I don't think I would find this more or less funny at 15. It is possible that jokes get less funny as you get older/mature. I'm hoping you don't find fart jokes or butt jokes as funny as when you were a kid...
