If the Cubs win the Series are they in the category of an all time greats? I mean its actually kinda rare that the best team actually win the whole thing but this team has been the best all year and finished with 100+ wins. I would think winning 114 games would at least have you in some sort of elite class...at least in terms of the modern discussion
Was reading the article in the Sun Times about some of the greats that have passed away and a name came to me that I hadnt thought of in ages...Yosh Kawano....Dude is STILL alive at 95...wow
I am actually not nervous at all...the nerves were to get to the world series...failure to do that would have been a huge disappointment...they made it ...if we win it would be so awesome but getting here is a big deal too
kinda fits ...only thing between the Cubs and a Series title that erases 108 years of waiting is 108 outs worth of victories...damn shame tickets are a rent payment or I would make the trip
thankful for a day of college football to keep me occupied...this game 6 feels much different than 03...03 we were favored to win game 6 this one not so much ...I really think we find a way tonight to get it done though ...somehow some way
I am looking online for potential world series tickets in cleveland for game 2....IF we make it might just fly there and try stubhub about 30 minutes before 1st pitch ,,,prices usually dip quite a bit
