I honestly think Lee is on the down-side of his career. He will be 33 in September and it isn't just his offense that has taken a hit this year. He is still an above average defensive player, but he is making a lot more errors than he has in the past. doesnt go from being the offensive star of the team hitting .330 with an OPS over 1.000 to a .220 hitter all of the sudden. Umm, 2005 was 3 years ago. Yeah, but earlier this season was a month ago. Yeah, because no player in MLB history has ever started off the season red hot and then come back to earth.
