1) there isnt a test for HGH in MLB 2) stop complaining about the cardinals it's getting tiresome No kidding. They're superior to every team in every way, so theres really no point anymore. yeah, thats totally what i meant :roll: we already have a 3.5 game lead on them, our entire lineup is not outplaying projections. our rotation is not patched together to that extent, we have a massive run differential advantage. we are superior to them at just about every single position. it's really tiring to hear all the complaining about a team that we are much better than But we're the Cubs and they're the Cardinals.

For a "gamer", Lilly is a pretty dumb pitcher. Grooves an 0-2 fastball right down the middle.

I don't know about him being a "fluke". He's always been productive when he stays on the field. He is playing a bit over his head, but keep in mind he's playing in Texas. His home/road splits are ridiculous, so it wouldn't surprise me if playing in that park allows him to keep up a pace close to this for the rest of the season.

Like, oh, I dunno, last Friday and Saturday. How was Saturday a clutch hit? It was the 4th inning. What's your definition of clutch? It was a one-run game in the 4th inning, and he drove in a run, kept the inning alive for Ramirez's HR that put the game out of reach. Clutch=8th or 9th inning. Lee sucked all game. He grounded into 1 double play and nearly grounded into 2 others. He also started the 3 run rally in the 7th that got them back in the game. Lee has not been clutch and had a bad AB in the 8th, but saying he's the reason we lost is beyond foolish.

They were down 7-1 and came within a single of tying it in the 9th. Let's be honest here... 2 of the guys batting in the 9th should never even bat in big spots and the other (Fukudome) had no chance against Sherrill. They still showed the ability to come back.
