  1. Even if the Brewers win tonight, the Cubs are still 6 games up in the loss collumn. If they lose, it'll be 7.
  2. Ryan Dempster.
  3. I flipped away for just a sec. What did it say? The good old "COMPLETELY USELESS BY SEPTEMBER" with "completely" spelled incorrectly. Haha, I was at the game last night and saw that guy during the game and then again after as he was yelling at Cubs fans coming out of the stadium. I called him out on him "completly" spelling and he just mumbled something about a goat and then started running his mouth again. Of course, he was all alone. Oh, and I hate to generalize, but the Marlins have to have to trashiest fanbase in all of baseball. 90% of the Marlins fans that were there were dirty looking hoodrats who were more interested in starting junk than watching the game. Also, the stadium seriously smells like ass. I didn't go to the day game today so I can only imagine how bad it smelled with all the sweating that was going on.
  4. Except Capuano sucks
  5. Just got back from the game. Pretty lame..my losing streak for attending Cubs games is now at 7. That's what I get for living in Florida. Anyways, I stayed at the same hotel as the team and hung around the bar for awhile and ended up seeing a lot of them. Some notes - Aramis was wearing some hilarious attire....old jeans and a tucked in button down shirt. He also had a huge bag of McDonalds. - Soto's wife is ridiculously hot (of course) - Derrek Lee was the only player I saw that rejected this little kid that was hunting autographs. He was with his family so I guess I understand, but still kind of questionable - Cedeno is hilarious. He had some brown shirt with gold ish all over it and a monstrous gold chain around his neck - Marmol is pretty cut - Fontenot in person is still very short - Jason Marquis was the coolest one and hung out at the bar for awhile. Now I don't know how to react to my previously most hated Cub -Zambrano is an awesome dresser The funniest part of the night was when I was heaqding up to my room to get my stuff. I was in an elevator with some dudes in Cubs gear, and the elevator stops to let someone on..... the door opens and Jim Edmonds is standing there in all his glory, with Reed Johnson by his side. They both kind of just looked around the elevator (probably saw all the Cubs stuff on those 2 d-bags) and said "uhh, we'll catch the next one". Seeing an elevator door open and Jim Edmonds standing on the other side was extremely bizarre.
  6. What was that last pitch Wood threw to Amezaga? 93 with movement
  7. Any chance you have video of the Len/Bob call?
  8. He's actually very similar to Soriano right now.
  9. It's good to see that someone else realizes that Braun won't be an elite hitter until he learns a little plate discipline. I think that will eventually come, though.
  10. It's not Anibel, it's Anibal. Pronounced differently.
  11. I live a few hours from Miami, so we usually go when the Cubs are there and stay at the same hotel as the players. My brother was at tonight's game and he said he was taking a leak in the hotel bathroom and Jim Edmonds came strolling in wearing some questionable attire. It was pretty funny though, I pick up the phone and hear "Haha, I just met Jim Edmonds.........in a bathroom". Figures.
  12. On ESPN the other day they showed Yost's office and there's a huge framed poster/picture of Earnhardt Sr. in there. I'm serious.
  13. he thinks he has a cute smile
  14. It's amazing how much better the Dodgers lineup is with Manny.
  15. He had a terrible April but has been dominant since. He has a 2.51 ERA over his last 20 starts.
  16. Wow, the Yankees are such a mess
  17. Why not? He was here last season...I saw him at the hotel
  18. Yeah, mlb.com had the Florida broadcast and that's no fun. I wish I could have scene Ward's postgame interview too.
  19. I love how this team's one obvious weakness (winning on the road) is being exposed as a fluke. This team should be able to beat anybody, anywhere. espn.com says this is the 10th straight road win... that's incorrect, right?
  20. Wait, Wood is coming out? Kind of surprising after the long outing he had last night.
  21. man, terrance howard destroyed that ball
  22. Holy hell that ball was obliterated
