What a miserable performance. I don't care how good this team is, that's unnacceptable.

But it's not just one game. The offense does this a lot. Unpossible --- they aren't head and shoulders ahead of the rest of the NL by doing this alot. Poop happens. They are head and shoulders above the rest of the NL because they pour it on in blowouts.

This is just pathetic. Cordero has been getting lit up by everybody.

K-Rod hasn't really been that great this season. Not even a top 5 reliever.

Is anybody else worried about the offense mailing it in like this in the playoffs? This offense has good, but they have the ability to be completely shut down on any given night. I know that happens with all teams, but it seems to happen a lot with this team. Feast or famine.

His experience as a good hitter before coming over here, combined with living on the other half of the world from where he's been his whole life, are not excuses for sucking, and his batting has been ridiculous bad, but I also think the aforementioned excuses are decent reasons to give the guy a little more leeway before dropping the Jacque treatment on him. Also, I don't think being trendy is so much the reason he's getting a free pass as the Cubs having the best record in baseball is. I don't know. I went to the Marlins series this weekend and everytime he came up to bat he got loud "FUKUDOME" chants from most of the Cubs fans in the place. And of course there those stupid headbands all over the place.

It really pisses me off that Kosuke is exempt from boo's. I'm not a big fan of booing, but it's really annoying that he gets a free pass because he's trendy.

Or if Soto couldve put the ball in the outfield, that would've helped too. yep. If Soto is batting ahead of Kosuke like he should be, the GIDP scores a run.

Absolutely no excuse to be losing this game. I don't care how good our record is, this is unacceptable. We were supposed to take at least 5 on this homestand.

This is the 4th straight game that the offense has let the starting pitcher off the hook multiple times. We can't keep relying on busting out late in the game, they need to stop wasting oppotunities.
