He shouldn't even be in the discussion. Why? It's not his fault he was traded from league to league. His season OPS is over 1.000 now and he's been ridiculous since he came to the dodgers. I'm not saying he should win, but I bet he'll get some votes.

I didn't even realize until just now how close the Brewers series is. So he sat down, mapped out the rotation, and he chooses to Have Lilly, Harden (hopefully), and Marquis go in what will be the most important series of the season so far? What the hell is that? Meanwhile, the Brewers rotation is set so Sabathia and Sheets will go in the first 2 games. Good job, Lou.

The 4 game set with the Brewers @ Philly this weekend is shaping up to be huge. I'm kind of torn. I'd LOVE to see the Brewers miss the playoffs altogether, but at the same time that would make us face Philly in the first round instead of (hopefully) LA. With the way Hamels completely dominates the CUbs, I want no part of them in a short series. I think we could handle them in a long series though. -
I was just coming to post something about this when I read the Giants recap. 127 pitches tonight for Lincecum. 108 through 8. Up 6-0. Not in playoff contention. A guy who is in his second year as a pro, only age 24. And is already 44 innings over his previous career high. Lincecum isn't going to beat Sabathia or Webb for the Cy Young. It was ridiculously dumb. He did the same exact thing in his last start....I think it was like 132 pitches. I disagree about the Cy, though. From what I've been reading, he's now the favorite with how Webb has been falling apart. C.C. won't get the votes. Dempster even has a (slim) chance if he wins out and Webb/Lincecum struggle. I'd put my money on Lincecum though.

Oh god I hope not. Having Marquis/Lilly get 4 of the remaining 6 games against Milwuakee would be beyond stupid.
