  1. in the sacramento game on the circus trip apparently
  2. lol gallinari what a clown. and the ref fell for it
  3. can't believe i just did a fist pump for a ray allen 3
  4. why is gallinari pretending he's good? i [expletive] hate the knicks
  5. oh, and what if boozer goes down?
  6. that's what kills me though. i don't want to "manage". i want to be a badass team that everybody knows is good. i wanted to take off and win like 55 games. i wanted to dominate. now whatever we do, i'm gonna feel like "yeah, but what if....." things were going so well....
  7. ok lets say he comes back february 23rd. that's 30 games missed. let's say we would have gone 20-10 with him. what would you guys guess we'd go without him? in other words, if he misses a 30 game stretch, how many games do you think that actually costs us? 4? 5?
  8. this is devastating
  9. oh, and there goes the all-star team for noah also
  10. heartbroken again. it was going too good for the bulls. something HAD to happen this is a killer. we'll still be good, i guess, but i didn't want "good". we were on our way to 50+ wins and a chance at a 3 seed. forget all that now. probably like 47-35 or something
  11. noah has been playing with an injured thumb and may have ligament damage http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nba/news/story?id=5922071 it's been mentioned in here a couple times recently, but he hasn't been the same recently. i guess now we know why you knew something was gonna happen. things are going too well for us right now. one of rose/noah/boozer was gonna go down. it was inevitable
  12. for the record, my prediction of chicago finishing ahead of orlando was very loose. it could go either way for sure, and i know many would still pick orlando. i just really like our schedule from here on out
  13. i agree with you on that. the magic are a horrible matchup for the bulls. when i was ranking the teams, it was based on where i thought they'd finish the regular season. that's why i did 1-8. it had nothing to do with who i thought would go further in the playoffs. i think there's a very good chance the bulls finish ahead of the magic in the regular season, because our schedule now becomes very, very easy. i never said i thought the bulls would beat the magic in the playoffs, because i don't.
  14. Wow, this is just stupid. Why do you think the Bulls schedule is "cake"? Why don't you look back at their schedule so far this season, look at their overall record, consider Boozer is still getting into form, and then tell me why Bulls fans are excited A 15-8 record while playing the toughest schedule in the NBA mostly without Boozer, and we won't find out what the bulls really are until April? Awesome By the way, the Magic have played the 4th easiest schedule so far. Our schedule is ridiculously easy for the next three weeks, besides the Christmas game against the Knicks. If that doesn't qualify as cake, I don't know what does. You misread my post. I agreed that it's cake
  15. They've been a 3, 2, and 3 seed under Van Gundy and gone to the Eastern semis, NBA Finals, and Eastern Conference Finals. That's not underperforming. so have they gotten it done in the playoffs or not? based on their records in those years, i think the results in the postseason have definitely been disappointing. they won 52 games in 07-08 and then flamed out in the second round without putting up much of a fight (acceptable) they won 59 games in 08-09 and reached the finals because of a weak eastern conference (taking 7 games to beat the KG-less celtics that needed 7 games to beat the 41-41 bulls), then get destroyed by the lakers in the finals they won 59 games last year and get beaten easily by the 50 win celtics im just syaing based on their regular seaosn records, their recent playoff performances have been disappointed. i don't really think i'm in the minority here either. i think most magic fans would agree with this.
  16. so the phillies have the 2 best starting pitchers in baseball, another one that's in the top 10, and another one that might be in the top 10. unfair. that bullpen is going to get a ton of rest with halladay and lee going back to back.
  17. Also, I think it's funny that a big part of your argument has come down to "we'll see who is better when the playoffs come" when you're a fan of the Magic.... a team who keeps proving that thy can't get it done in the playoffs
  19. If you don't think the Bulls and Magic are in a similar position this year in terms of conference finish in the standings, then you're being a homer. 9 out of 10 people who aren't fans of either would view both as a step behind Boston and Miami, currently. Just because the Magic are a bad matchup right now for the Bulls specifically, doesn't mean a whole lot in terms of the teams' outlook for the season and playoffs. I never said the Bulls wouldn't finish near the Magic in the standings. They'll probably indeed finish 4th. What I basically said is that ranking them ahead of Orlando right now is BS because they've done nothing to prove they are better. And again, it's being assumed that the Magic being ravaged by the flu has somehow weakened the team for good. Without the flu, Orlando is at least 18-6, most likely 19-5 and nobody is calling Chicago the better team. and without the boozer injury and playing the toughest schedule in the NBA, the bulls are probably close to that record too [expletive], if not for a melo miracle buzzer beater and a knicks miracle 3 point shooting display, the bulls would be 17-6 right now. see, i can play that game too.
  20. 107-78. In Chicago. the magic lost to the raptors at home. are the raptors better?
  21. wtf? best rotation of all time. that is just ridiculously insane
  22. yea i think he might miss a few games, but that seems like nothing compared to what it could have been. i was having d-lee flashbacks i'm concerned about his stroke now though. he was on fire from 3 and was getting more and more consistent. now he injures his shooting hand? grreeeaaattttt
  23. the penguins went 47-28-7 after they won the cup i can't believe that the most likely scenario for the hawks is that they are going to miss the playoffs, but it is. my expectations were low this season, but this is just sad.
  24. they just don't care. there is no fight, no energy, no hustle, nothing. i know there's going to be the "hangover" and whatever from winning the cup, but this is inexcusable. i don't care how many players they lost, the ones that are still here are giving the effort that i necessary. it's becoming a truly embarrassing "defense" of the stanley cup. it's beginning to feel like we never won it at all.
  25. yup. i was already indifferent for the most part, now i'm just done. if they aren't interested, then neither am i.
