    Not in approach, but in looking absolutely lost at any breaking ball thrown to them. Geo looks overmatched at the plate, much like Soriano does on any breaking stuff. Total pitches swung at: Soriano: 57.9% Soto: 39.7% Pitches swung at outside the strike zone: Soriano: 48.5% Soto: 21.9% I still don't see the similarity. Yeah, that's great. What do your EYES see though?

    It's gonna take quite a haul for me to be happy losing Soto. I think you have to trade Pena right now, if you can. And I think he'll command about what Soto would, factoring in team-controlledness and whatnot. And we should be getting more for Geo. So let's keep him, please.

    I think they would play all 81 at the Cell. The park is owned by the ISFA, and Rahm will insist that something be worked out. They could make the carrying over of season tickets in "new" Wrigley contingent on maintaining the accounts through the gypsy period. Ricketts can maintain the draw of Wrigley by closing it for a bit, or lose it entirely by going elsewhere. Really, 1060 W. Addison is the only option. He owns the land, the draw of the neighborhood is undeniable and the team has already put lots of cash into the bleachers, which should be viable for decades to come. The Triangle Building makes a lot more sense if built into a new grandstand rather than via the duct tape approach we've been sold so far. What's wrong with my Logan idea? Or do you not know the city that well?

    The ump calling a third strike on what was clearly a ball did not help. Nobody frames pitches better than AJ. Frustrating.

    Wow, he did say that. Not sure how I missed it. If they were going to build another park elsewhere in the city, I would like to see in in the Logan Square area. Would extend the culture from Wicker Park/Bucktown and bring the area up quite a bit, would have blue line access and there is a ton of empty space out there. Some parking, too.

    Too bad the Cubs minor league system has been broke for some time. The prospects to choose from are pretty bleak. They have a LONG way to go to get to the Red Sox level. Oh...and some good talent was shipped for Garza (who's been pretty average so far). Hendry gone may help but I am not a fan of how Ricketts wants to improve this team. They need free agents at this point. Not rookies. Not a single word of this post is accurate Sorry you were wrong. Only because you went through and dissected each point I made that you YOU asked me to provide...I have no choice but to concede this argument.
